Peter Letts creates portraits from photos or from life, at any size, in any media, and on almost any material. These absolutely unique works of art make unique gifts but are usually commisioned by the end user to hang in their family home or work place.
The most common human portrait commision is for oils on canvas with the size being completely dependant on the clients needs and available space. Most pet portraites are commisioned in water colours with an A4 image size on A3 paper or oils on a 400mm x 500mm canvas; however any size or medium can be supplied.
Every commission is unque so there is no standard pricing, however an obligation free quotation will always be supplied once your specific requirements have been discussed. Costs are all about the time involved and the materiald used and as a general rule, the bigger the work of art and the more people or detail invoved, the longer it will take and the more it will cost.
The most cost effective options are pencil or charcoal renderings. Oil paintings are usually the most impressive and also the most expensive works of art. Quality artwork takes time and uses expensive materials, therefore a 50% deposit is required before any work is undertaken. Contact me for an obligation free quote by phoning 07 5535 6114 or 0408 027 013 or by sending me an email peter@lettsdesign.com and a few good quality photos of the subject(s). Finished portraits are always photographed or scanned and a proof sent to make sure ou are happy with the result before they are despatched or made ready for pick up.
